Renaissance Hotel Shuttle

Anyone ever done the stay and cruise package with the Renaissance Riverview Hotel?? Just wondering if you still have to sit in a long line of traffic when they drop you off and how long do you have to wait for shuttle to pick you up when you return???

We stayed there on 4/9 for our 4/10 cruise. The hotel is great! Request a room with a view of the pier.

 

Shuttle reservations are taken in order of check in. We were given an 11:30 shuttle departure time. The hotel has one shuttle van and it was running approx. 15-20 minutes behind the day we departed.

 

We did not have to wait in traffic. The shuttle was directed directly into the drop off area. When we returned we opted to use a taxi ($4 per person) rather than wait for the shuttle.

We just stayed at the Riverwalk Rennasaince Hotel In Mobile Alabama.

We did the Park and ride cruise package and it was great. We were on the first van shuttle to the boat got to the Boat at 10:45 and was on ship by 11:15. Very curteous and great rooms. Would definately recommend this Hotel.

Any idea on how many passengers can the van handle per trip?

When we checked in, were advised it only holds 3. However, the next day it must have been changed to a van, because our party of eight got to travel together.

We stayed in September of last year and it was great. We also took the shuttle back to the hotel and they were waiting for us as we came out the door of the terminal, without us having to call.
