jarrettdad Posted April 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2010 I went to Bannister Island through Carnival a few years ago and liked it. Taking the 2 year old thi time and want to do a Beach Excursion again. I realize that Carnival no longer does the Beach only part of this excursion. I am planning on booking through Eco-Tours Belize. My question..... In Belize do they let the Carnival Excursions off first, or do they let everyone go when they want. I needed to know so I could book a time to leave for the island. Thanks in advance.....
MamaParrotHead Posted April 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2010 They let Carnival excursions off first. Figure an hour of wasted time between waiting for your tender group to be called and tendering into Belize City and back, plus the backtracking time that you go literally right past the ship you just came off of to get to Bannister. jarrettdad Posted May 3, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted May 3, 2010 So should I book 2-3 hours after arrival? Or should I find them at port and try to go then with no reservation?
MamaParrotHead Posted May 3, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2010 I'd book 2 hours after arrival, and give yourself an hour from when you're AT the tender dock to get back to the ship (with the tender lines and such).
