San Juan Airport...not so bad!

We were so worried coming home on Sunday from the AOS out of San Juan...but if you know what your doing by listening to everyone on Cruise Critic [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif[/img] you will be fine! We had a 12:10 flight home to JFK and so we spoke to Guest Relations about our concerns. They told us not to worry and to simply get off about 8:30 with the first group. We got white tags for the luggage and nervously waited in the theater just waiting to see what would happen. Sure enough we were called at 8:30 and moved fast! We got luggage went through customs and were completely off the boat in no time! We then hopped in a cab for $18.00 despite the fact we had paid $25.00 for a RCCL tranfer voucher...who wants to wait for a bus to fill up, load luggage, take it off...etc. when there is not time to spare? Would you believe we were at the airport, through check in, through security, and at the gate....in about a half hour? No problems cause we beat the cruise ship rush!!!! We actually sat around there too long, but at least we could relax and all worked out well for us. Best advice we got....take a cab and you should be just fine!!! Hey we lost $25.00 but made the flight home...thanks to all of you who gave us good advice!
