Captain Gus ????

Hi, we recently sailed on the Disney Wonder on Feb 25th. The Captain was Captain Gus. Does anybody know his last name? My wife is working on a scrapbook. Thanks.

Captain Guus took over for Captain Fabian (who was on bereavement leave) on our Panama Canal Cruise September 2014. He was fantastic.... so personable, and made himself available for photos and autographs on a regular basis, even though we had quite a memorable cruise.... dodging both Hurricane Odile and Tropical Storm Pollo, as well as another unnamed tropical depression. I would be happy to sail with Captain Guus again!

Captain Guus is wonderful.

 

If you pull up the U-tube video from when the Wonder rescued the overboard Carnival passenger, you can hear Guus in the background issuing orders to the crew. When I complimented him on it, he blushed and asked how I knew it he was in charge. (voice is distinctive)
