*love2travel* Posted May 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2010 We will be cruising on the Legend and are looking at ocean view cabins on the riviera deck. Will we notice a lot of noise from deck 2? My only other experience is the Inspiration and we had cabins on the deck above us. Thanks for your help!

My only other experience is the Inspiration and we had cabins on the deck above us. Thanks for your help! Have not sailed on the Legend (yet), but we have had a lot of cabins on the Riviera decks and NEVER had a problem with any type of noise, actually it was REALLY quiet on this deck. But, we were always "mid-ship" so that helped, you may have more noise being in the front or back, but not sure. Sue

I know I was originally looking at Riviera deck and spotted several places I didn't want to be. I would look at the layout and pick a location that isn't under something that is going to be open at night. I ended up picking a room on deck 4 above the funshops. I imagine that will be a fairly quiet.
momofzeke Posted May 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Have been on Riviera deck on Spirit class ships twice and loved it. Just look at what is above you, since the deck above does have public areas. We had close to mid-ship cabins on Riviera on both the Pride and the Miracle and we never heard any noise at all in our cabins. Very quiet. Riviera is great on Spirit class because you are only 1 or 2 decks below most of the public areas like dining room, shops, casino, bars, showroom. *love2travel* Posted May 5, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted May 5, 2010 Thanks all. We may try it or go up to deck 4 in a cat 4K. DH wants a balcony but I'm trying to be frugal. LOL
