Do-it-yourself Bonefishing??

We plan on renting a car and exploring the "other" side of the island next month. I'm an avid flyfisherman and wouldn't mind bringing my flyrod if I'm able to see some bones. I've read that the bones are at the northern tip of the island, do they make their way done the eastern coast (by Coconuts et al).
