FOS 6410/6412 or 6366/6368

Recommended Posts

I could really use some help! We have 6 travelers. When we booked we were only able to get 6410/6412 as no other cabins for 3 or 4 were available. We were led to believe by RCI that they were wonderful cabins. (I was never told about the obstructed view. I learned about it later on these boards.) After weeks of research I have come to terms with the superstructure and other issues with these cabins. Well, payment in full is due today and suddenly--big surprise--other cabins are popping up! We need to stay on deck six, aft region as all of the rest of the family is there. Cabins 6366/6368 connecting came up yesterday--we put them on hold. One rep at RCI said "no way stay in AFT"--which I am inclinded to do and the supervisor said to move-- which my husband wants to do. It costs $600.00 per cabin more to move. Is this DI cabin actually bigger than the EI's on the back of the ship? Am I getting $600.00 bigger ? I like the idea of connecting but don't need it. Help! What would you all do?

Take a look at these two sites. The voyager class is very similar to the Freedom class. We stay in Aft rooms whenever possible but have not stay in these rooms. The superstructure does not bother us. We love the quiet location since the only people coming by your door is you and some crew members. The balcony will easily be twice as large as the ones on the sides. You should actually have lounge chairs to lay in instead of chairs.
