dclark Posted May 9, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I'll be in Belize next month, what are the chances that I won't see one? If I don't, are there other things worthwhile that I might see?
MamaParrotHead Posted May 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2010 I didn't see one. Come to think of it, I've never read of anyone seeing one here on Cruise Critic. So, the chances are slim, I think I can safely say. And even if they do spot one, it's like a nose sticking out of the water, and the water is murky, therefore you probably won't see a manatee either way...if you're lucky you may see a nose, LOL. Just FYI, you can now swim with a manatee in Cozumel (at Chanakaab Park). It's only $39 pp. I read a review (I think on TripAdvisor or maybe on CC). The person loved it. We'll be doing this in ten days.
