Christmas on the Paradise: Midnight Mass onboard?

Hi! We're booked for the 12/24 Paradise 3 day and I'm wondering if there's a Catholic Midnight Mass for Christmas Eve? And if so, where is it usually held?

This reminds me of the first year my DH and I were married. (Me being Catholic and he being Baptist...) I said I'd like to go to midnight mass and he said sure...what time is it?? :o

I've never heard of any type of religious service being held on a Carnival ship so I would be surprised indeed if there was a Midnight Christmas service of any religious denomination

It all depends... they might and they might not. We were on a ship thgat had midnight mass. CCL policy is that they will provide the room and put it in the caper if requested. They won't pay for a priest to cruise with them, but if there is a priest that happens to be on board, he can do it.

I would highly doubt it, in my 10 Carnival there has yet to be a Christian service of any kind and 2 of those cruises were over Easter. Costa, Holland America, and RCCL regularly have Catholic services in my experience. The only way that may be different would be if you had a preist in your party, or if one was onboard vacationing and offered his services free to the line.

Ah well, thanks guys. Felt kinda weird about being on a cruise ship at Christmas for the first time, and thought I'd hedge my bets by attending Mass. "See, God? I'm behaving!" :D

 

I guess I'll be dodging lightning strikes while trying not to spill my drink of the day...

Thank you. I've been known to hit the search button a time or two,;) and I did see that response, but it seemed so vague that I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask those who'd know...
