Celebrity Dive Operators in Cozumel

Does anyone know who Celebrity uses as their dive operations in Cozumel? I think RCCL uses Sand Dollar Sports and was wondering if X does the same. Has anyone done any dives recently with them?

I just got confirmation via email from Sand Dollar Sports that they are Celebrity's dive operator.

 

I might book the dive through the ship as we are only in port from 9-6pm. I'll report back our experiences.

Back from our cruise and dive with Sand Dollar. Worst diving experience and will not dive with them ever again. There were a lot of inexperienced divers and some first dives after certification. The boat was overcrowded with 15 divers, 3 dive masters and 2 additional crew. Divers were split into 3 groups.

 

First dive: One lady was extemely nervouse on the boat and expressed it and still sent down with our group with one DM. We decended and she ended up surfacing too fast and was sent back to the boat. My husband and I were down and DM nowhere to be seen. Current strong and we blasted by the Santa Rosa reef until we caught upwith the DM and rest of group. Dive ended spending the last 10 mins on a sandy bottom before ascending to a safety stop.

 

Second Dive: Descended to a fair reef and for some reason, the DM had us head back to sand for another swim to a small reef for a short time before our ascent. Saw more sand on these 2 dives than ever before. Like I said, will never dive with a ship excursion with Sand Dollar again.

Nice thing about Cozumel is that you have so many dive operations to chose from.
