Question from my hubby - can you get Bombay Sapphire delivered to your cabin (Ventura) and if so does anyone know approx how much it costs ? Already planning pre dinner drinks on our balcony ;) !

Yes, you can. You order via interactive TV and it is £12.50 per litre. You can also get cans of tonic water at buy 9 and get 3 free. If you ask the cabin steward they will leave you a bucket of ice each day too. Watch it though it is like rocket fuel (47% versus 40% you get as standard here)

Thank you - wow £12.50 is not bad at all, at 47% will need to drink it a teaspoon at a time :D

The very reasonable prices is why we will be returning to P&O again. The glitz of Royal Caribbean etc. is great but their drinks prices are just astronomical compared with P&O (e.g. wine prices are double on RCI), especially with the really poor exchange rate and when you are a family of 4.

Quite true regarding the Royal C drinks prices. We were on a Dubai cruise with them in feb. Had 2 beers by the pool one day - not even pints. 16 oz -about 3/4 pint plastic glasses.

 

After they added the 15% it came to over $13 - about £10 for 2 small beers - which ended up the only ones we bought all week.

 

Wine started off at $28 a bottle as well
