Crown & Anchor coupon Navigator Dec 2004

Recommended Posts

Sorry - can't do a search as the facility is down, and I know this has been discussed before.
Can anybody please tell me the value of the coupon? I received a UK coupon for £90 which I forwarded to RCI via Buycruises. I have just received a visa credit of £57.34 which equates to less than 64% of the coupon value. Even allowing for the currency exchange rate and a deduction to take account of Buycruises reduced commission (which I think is fair given their discounted prices) the deduction seems excessive - I'm sure it was not so much last year
It may be that the US coupon was for a lesser amount in which case I will be happy with the US$106 I've been credited.
Thanks for your help

$106 USD sounds about right from a $125 coupon. We always use CruiseQuick and they discount coupons 16% so a $125 coupon is worth $105. If Buycruises follows a similar commission schedule, the $106 would be right.

I'm thinking of booking a cruise on-line for the first time. I received a very good price but I have a Crown & Anchor savings certificate for $50.00 that I would like to apply to this also. When you book on-line is there a place to put the savings certificate or do you need to email them with this info?? Anybody know?
Thanks,
Kim

Have already thanked Aqusis and Just4kixx in a separate posting on the "fix" when the regular boards were down.....but thanks again for info . I feel great now I know I got a good deal

I'd email the online TA - they give a quote based on no coupon, so may revise it to take account of their reduced commission (see above) I received the coupon after I'd already booked, so it was slightly different, but the principle's the same
