I am a newbie to cruising - finally setup an appt to talk for the first time with my Carnival PVP - Angela. Going on the Ecstasty April 21st, 2011.

 

Any questions/advice on what I need to discuss with her? I know the date/ship/room we want and will have the funds to make our deposit.

Hi Patricia, seemingly alot of seasoned cruisers are slow to answer "old questions. Sorry bunch we are.Much of advance cabin selection is dictated by pocketbook.Middle of ship, front-back and up-down, best

guard against sea-sickness. Some like to be near elevators others claim

they are noisy, high traffic areas. Suggest you discuss cost of cabin and

chances for an up-grade (available on guaranteed cabins with no specific

cabin assigned). Depending on distance to ship and travel (air) compare/

consider cost of Carnival Travel Insurance to private. Biggest initial aid

will be to read and re-read information available on Carnival site: tips for

"newbies", packing, travel etc. and then use CC boards for more specific

information. Your cruise "roll-call" generally provides compassionate ship-

mates, most of whom will be quite obliging.Welcome and hope this is a
