I am so glad you asked this....I have always wondered why people want to see them ahead of time??? I'm fairly sure it's not going to make you cancel your cruise if it appears to suck. I guess it just never occurred to me to NEED to know this information ahead of time, since it is completely irrelevant. It is not going to change the day I cruise (they post them each morning for that day), so I genuinely would like to hear from someone as to the reasoning behind needing to know BEFORE you cruise.

Well, my reasoning is that I am in full swing of a weight loss plan, and I was wondering what kinds of things were on the spa menus since I've never looked at or ordered from them before. Your right, it won't ruin my cruise, but it doesn't hurt to ask either.

Another reason I wanted to see them at the beginning.. was to see which night was best for the steak house.. depending on your ship.. I find pork chop the best night for the steak house:D

I totally agree with you on that..i just sent my reservation request for the steakhouse on pork chop night...:D

i also wanted to see it for the steakhouse reservations. I didn't want to miss out on the dining room, so i picked the night that i least liked the menu and then made reservations

You want to double check once you get on the ship what menus they will be using and the order. Depending on the itinerary and availability of menu items, they can switch the order of menus, and even the menus themselves. There are at least 16 menus to choose from.

Ah, you see...something I take for granted because I typically do 4 or 5 night cruises. I knew there HAD to be some other reason besides, "I am so compulsive I won't be able to sleep until I've memorized the Capers (or whatever they are now) and menu verbatim for my cruise 7 months from now."

I go to both of those sites. I love Zydeco's site b/c of the food porn. Some of his selections are some Id choose too. Others,like at lunch,I want to see a pic of a shrimp salad sand. mmmm my mouth is watering!!!
