Ideas for mom and 2 young kids?

We went to Belize last year and did the cave tubing. The others in my group are doing the Land Rover expedition this time around. I will be with my 2 and 6 year old and interested to see if anyone had any safe ideas for us. I would really like to donate supplies to a school or day care but don't really feel safe trekking it alone. We are content with staying on the ship but wanted to explore all of our options. Thanks!

I would take them to Bannister Island or possibly Fab Tours' island. Kids this age are diggers.

We went to the Belize Zoo. It was extremely :primative: I guess would be the word. It was ok, I wouldn't recommend it to my best friend, there has to be nicer things to do. It was a 30-40 min ride. Scary parts of the country IMO.

 

If you do go, you need bug spray. You could probably walk thru in an hour.
