deano75 Posted June 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Hi guys - I have been told that you can take one bottle of wine or bubbles per person onboard to celebrate sailaway. Does anyone know the truth in this?? Also - bring back the colourful streamers while departing!
Drelix Posted June 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Welcome deano to cruise critic.... The taking on wine thing depends on what ship you are going on if you going on a P and O cruise like (eg pacific dawn, pacific jewel or pacific, sun) there answer is no you cannot but if you go on any of the princess lines you can. We took a dozen onboard Holland America. They don't care at all how many you bring on.

Can you remember how much the corkage was on HAL? The corkage was expensive. $25 or $30 US I think but we had a fridge and mainly drank in our cabin on the verandah.
