Deck 12 Boardwalk Balcony Rooms

Recommended Posts

we're booked on the 9/4 sailing in a boardwalk balcony stateroom on deck 12 and was just poking around on the RCCL site to see if there were any rooms in a better location than the one we currently have booked. noticed that the boardwalk balconies are almost all gone on decks 8,9,10,11 and 14 but on deck 12 there are a bunch left. is this just a coincidence or does anyone know if there's a reason why deck 12 is not as popular? actually thinking about switching to deck 8 to be closer to central park. anyone have suggestions/advice? thanks!

We are also booked in a Boardwalk room on deck 12 for the same cruise, and I also wondered the same thing. We are booked in room 12693 now. And thinking of moving back to 12715..We are in a large group and this would move us further away from them, but closer to the Aqua Theater. If I can ask what room are you booked in now?

We were about mid-way down on our cruise -- I think it was 12305, and you still get a really good view of the Aqua Theatre. There's also a "hidden" outdoor deck with lounge chairs at the very end of the hallway -- very few people ever venture back there, and we watched the show by ourselves a couple of times. From your balcony, you can see up to the sports deck and some of the goings-on there, and down to the activity on the Boardwalk. We thought it was a great location (and very walkable up to the Windjammer!).

We're in 12329, the furthest aft balcony on the 9/18 sailing. It looks like a super location, but appears to be covered by the back bridge structure. Has anyone stayed in this location and will it be a problem?
