Anyone been to Paradise Beach in Cozumel this past week?

I was there on May 28th and while the water wasn't as clear near the beach as it was in Grand Cayman, I wouldn't say it was brown. We had a great time there...rented a wave runner...and fell off...thought I was going to drown...trying to sell my story to "I shouldn't be alive"...but that's off topic....

some others in our group got a taxi to Playa Mia and had fun as well. (BTW - Carnival was offering two excursions to Playa Mia, one was about $35 and the other was about $65 per person - they both included open bar but the higher priced one included food (buffet) and transportation). I don't think our boys spent that much by just taking a taxi straight there....

People were saying the water was brown and not inviting. I was wondering if it has cleared up? We were thinking about going there later this week.

A lot of times the clearness of the water can be effected by the weather. It usually clears up quickly. Have fun on your cruise!

The water has been churned up with the annual Spring winds shifting

to the south, and it'll be kinda gross at all the beaches when this occurs.

It happens every year. It clears up when everything settles.

I've been hearing about the water and was wondering the same thing.

We'll be in Cozumel at the end of June and had planned a trip to Paradise Beach.

I'm hoping the water is cleared up by then.:)
