A&Jfamily Posted June 12, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2010 HiWhat was your kids favorite excursions? And what are were their ages? Just wondering. I am future planning for this spring. It would help to know where you are going. We haven't had a bad excursion yet and my kids have been cruising since they were 2 and 8 - now 6 and 12. Dolphins @ Chankanaab in Coz, Monkeys in Roatan, Sting Rays @ GC, Sea Kayaking in Belize and Island tour with Mr. Henry of EEE tours in St. Thomas, just to name a few. CanadianTwosome Posted June 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2010 Definitely dolphins have factored into my daughter's favourite excursions, and the monkeys in Roatan were pretty high on the list as well - and the sealions in Puerto Vallarta... okay, perhaps I should say ANIMALS have factored into her favourites! :p You can usually find at least one dolphin encounter on any cruise itinerary. We also like yacht/sailing charters - we're landlocked at home, so we tend to do excursions that involve water.
Onessa Posted June 14, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2010 In AK - dogsledding on a glacier was easily #1, the Aquarium in Vancouver In HI - snorkling (turtle bay), the Honolulu Zoo(lulu) In the Med - Pompeii or Rome (Colesium) Southern Med - the Sphinx (Egypt as a whole was "cool") In the Baltic - Copenhagen On Eastern Canadian tour - she liked the old fort in Halifax and the glass blowing We've done many of these itineraries several times, but these were some of her favs
RoadTripFanatic Posted June 15, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2010 On our last cruise DD's favorite port was Athens. She had been reading the Percy Jackson series and loved it. She developed a love for all things Greek mythology especially when it dealt with Athena. Therefore Athens became her favorite port of call. :)
