Manhattan parking options

We stayed at the Edgewater NJ Homewood suites and kept our car there for a week (No charge) 2 years ago when we sailed out of NY. They had a shuttle that took us to Port Imperial Water taxi which takes you over to NYC and we walked up to the ship from there. If you want to could also park at the Port Imperial parking lot for the week @ $10.00 per day instead of $30.00 per day.

just remember if you park at Port Imperial to tell them you are parking for a week(or whatever) when you drive in. They will tell you where to park and put a note in the window when you will be back, as they have towed cars who didn't so notify....taking the ferry across is actually very nice.
