LaPaloma Posted February 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2005 Have read all your posts attentively, being totally new to cruising and Seabourn especially. Have not seen anything about theCarribean cruises? Why is that?I am going and cannot wait! Jumelle We have been on 4 Carribean cruises with Seabourn--Legend and Pride each 2 times. They have been super trips. I guess the Carb. just isn't as romantic as some of the other destinations. but the Islands are beautiful and the shopping on some of the stops is sensational. The beach picnic held on most of the cruises is outstanding. It think the Carib. cruises are a little more layed back than some of the other trips. On all of our cruises the weather has been perfect--ideal for just wandering around when you are onshore. You will love it--Seabourn will make it a trip to remember! :)
Martita B. Posted February 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2005 There is more information on the Caribbean--page 2 The Caribbean is a super cruise on Seabourn. I'm assuming you'll be on the Legend... A great ship! Many wonderful, small unique Islands in the Caribbean. Weather always "picture postcard" perfect! Enjoy and welcome to our Seabourn family! Naveron Posted February 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2005 I guess the Carb. just isn't as romantic as some of the other destinations. :) How can that be? Wouldn't the Caribbean be one of the most romantic?
LaPaloma Posted February 5, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2005 You are now speaking with La Paloma's wife. He is 75 and hasn't found a romantic place in some years..ha! All of the Seabourn cruises would be romantic if you were of a romantic mind. The ambieance is special...the food and service the best! What wouldn't be romantic about a bottle of champagne and some caviar sent to your room...and your balcony door open..and the breezes from the sea floating in??????
