Victory anniversary in St Lucia

My DH and I will be celebrating our 15th anniversary in April, and our CC Victory cruise will have us in St. Lucia on our special day. Does anyone have recommendations for a special romantic day?

If you are willing to spend $$ taking a private taxi tour of the island would be nice. It is a very pretty island. Drive to the Pietons (sp?), tell your taxi driver that you want to stop at t nice place for lunch. :)

I agree that the Pitons were nice to look at....but the drive to get there was crazy. It is all the way on the other side of the island from where the ships dock. Driving around the island is not for the faint of heart. The roads are really curvy and steep.

 

So......I would investigate getting a day pass at one of the resorts on the island. If I would ever make it back to St. Lucia, that is what I would do!!

I would NOT recommend Jalousie beach. It is very rocky and crowded. The surrounding view is beautiful, but the beach itself is not. The resort had to import the sand in, but at the water line it's so rocky it's hard to walk on with bare feet. Also, the resort only allows the people staying there to use their facilities, so ALL the cruise passengers that go there have to share a tiny space on the beach.

 

I've heard Pigeon (sp?) Island was very nice, though.
