T-Mobile on board?

I'm just curious if anyone has used a phone with T-Mobile on board. I was on their website yesterday, trying to make sense of their international calling plans. It looks to me like it costs $4.99 a minute onboard ship to make a call. I'm hoping there is a plan that will make is cheaper. I don't plan on making a lot of calls, but I do have a situation I need to at least check on when I'm sailing in two weeks.

Yes, I have TMobile and have used the phone on the ship and in port.

 

On the ship, its the Cellular at Sea sattelite that prevails while at sea, and its $4.99 a minute. Texts are fifty-cents. Sometimes right off of the coast of Cali, if you arent too far out, you can get a TMobile signal.

 

In port, its the TMobile International Rates, but you need to make sure you have World Class service activiated on your account in order to use the international plan (free, just call TMobile).
