Technical problems, help please!

I am trying to change my countdown clock and I went to edit and erased what I had and save changes (it listed the incorrect ship). I have now created a new one and again went to edit and when I go to save it says invalid file. What am I doing wrong?

 

Also I saw somewhere that I can change my settings somehow, so that when I read new posts I can see the newest ones first. How do I do that? I went under everything under my user cp but did not see how to do that.

To change the thread options, go to your User CP near the top of the page on the far left. Click on edit options. Go down to thread display options. Look for thread display mode. There is a drop down box there. Select 'linear, newest first'. Go all the way down to the bottom of the page and click on 'save'.
