Carnival Glory - Emerald Steak Hous

Its a personal decision.

We had dinner with our kids last month and it was a very nice meal. Excellent steak and very good apps and desserts.

Also very much enjoy dinner in the DR.

I would try it once and see if they like it especially if they are into gourmet and upscale steak houses.

If you enjoy eating in fine upscale steakhouses like Smith & Wolensky, Ruth's Chris, Fleming's, etc, then you will definitely enjoy eating there!

The steaks are delicious, the full Maine Lobster tail is out of this world, and the Chocolate Sampler dessert is YUM!

We go at least once when we sail, and find the $30.00 charge well worth it!

Try it... you'll LOVE it!

Like chefsusan says, if your parents enjoy fine dining then they are likely to enjoy the Steakhouse. It usually takes about 2.5 hours so if they aren't used to a "dining experience" with attentive service, more exquisitly prepared food then a person should consume in one sitting and having to enjoy each other's company for all that time then they might not think it's worth it. Not everyone does.

We've usually gone with another couple, thoroughly enjoyed the experience and feel it's more then worth the price.
