wxjcupo Posted June 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Hi Everyone -- I will be cruising RCCL's Voyager of the Seas in December. I am also interested in going on the Celebrity's Constellation in May 2011 for their 15-day transatlantic. While onboard the Voyager, can I purchase an onboard future cruise certificate and apply it toward the Celebrity cruise and get the $200 onboard credit promotion since RCCL owns Celebrity? Thanks in advance.
billsgal Posted June 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Yes,you will receive an OBC for CEL when booking onboard an RCI ship. However, you might want to check availability now, as the Connie transatlantic is usually very popular and rooms may not be available in Dec. for a May sailing. We booked the Jewel TA 2011 when it opened in March, and right now there are very few balcony cabins available and no suites available. Also, if it is popular, the price may rise between now and December.

okimot Posted June 24, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2010 On the Independence in December 2009, booked two cruises. One on the Celebrity Century which sailed from Barcelona on 3rd June 2010. Got $200 OBC. Booked on Vision of the Seas sailing from Copenhagen on 11th September 2010 to Venice. Got $600 OBC. So if you book on board you can get some good deals. tobecool Posted June 24, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2010 but will we have any chance to change our cruise to others with OBC going with us? If so, that means we don't need care too much about what we book on the ship, but we'll get the OBC anyway. and meanwhile, if we book on board, and we find any price drop, are we still eligible to get the reduction?
