kieterfly Posted June 23, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Does any one know if Carnival charges you to have a sand ceremony? Just wondering because I think they charge for the candle ceremony.
alr_2009 Posted June 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2010 What is a sand ceremony? I saw this on either carnival website or here, still not sure what it is.

A sand ceremony is like the unity candle, except you're uniting sand & not flames. You have 2 small vases with sand in it, 1 for the bride & 1 for the groom, & 1 larger vase that both the bride and groom pour their sand into to unite the two sands.
