Hi - was wondering if anyone has ever stayed here and if it is close to the cruise port?

Rio Mar Beach Club is about 1 hr from the cruise port. It is in Rio Grande, by the rain forest.

It is a nice place to stay, but not for one night prior to a cruise.

We thought it was an excellent place to stay for the night before our cruise on the Victory. Wanted to see the rain forest and staying out there was a nice evening and then a good breakfast the next morning and then spent five hours at the rainforest then drove to return the rental car then on to the port by 6PM. Stayed two nights at the Sheraton in Old Town after the cruise.

If you are not going to the rain forest then stay closer to San Juan.
