Lottycruiser Posted June 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2010 We were aware that alcohol was quite pricey on the Med cruises , i found it ridiculously high at $7-48 for a beer and the cheapest bottle of wine $18 ,would never consider smuggling wine onboard i dont really see the point as we dont spend any time in the cabin apart from sleeping ,why oh why are the drinks so pricey though ? apparantly they arent as pricey on the caribbean cruises is there a reason for this ? Lottycruiser Posted June 26, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted June 26, 2010 In case you're interested here is a link to a thread that discusses drink prices on the Navigator: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1217199&highlight=navigator Thank you have read that with interest ,will have to compare what the prices are on our Caribbean cruise in September ,It was really my only gripe about the cruise , i did know that prices would be high before booking so i am not complaining as such just wondering why they are so high , i have my answer now , its high purely because they can get away with it .
