Advice for Mazatlan Taxi and Restaurant?

My wife and I will be in Mazatlan next week and would like some advice from the more experienced Mexican Riveria cruisers. I should state that I did search for these answers before, but couldn't find them all. I'm re-asking here so people can benefit from seeing all the answers in one place.

 

1) How much is the taxi ride from the terminal to AromaSpa? From AromaSpa to the Golden zone? And how much from the Golden Zone back to the terminal? In all three locations is it easy enough to wave down a cab driving by or would it make more sense for us to hire someone for the day? If the latter, how much? Is there a price difference between the taxi types?

 

2) Is everything within the Golden Zone walkable? We're looking for a beach-front restaraunt within the Golden Zone area to walk to and with reasonable prices...

From the Golden Zone to the terminal is between $ 8 to $ 12, depend on how you bargain. It is very easy to get a taxi from the Golden Zone. Golden Zone is like a "broadwalk". Resturants on one side and beach on the other side, there are a few resturant on the beach as well.
