ksaunders Posted June 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2010 I just booked the Liberty for Oct 30th, and my confirmation says Carnival MAY charge up to $9.00/pp per day if the price of oil is over $70.00. It's been over $70.00 for quite a while now. Has everyone been paying this? Are they going to charge this fee later, or on the ship?

Saying that gives Carnival the right to charge it, but so far it hasn't been done. If there is a sudden spike in the price of oil, you may see the surcharge added, but so far, so good. Happy cruising to all! Bob
