Harbie Posted June 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2010 We are cruising in Oct/Nov from Long Beach. I have not confirmed airfare yet but looking at a flight that leaves Long Beach at 11:00 am and our ship is due to arrive back at 9 am.....has anyone had problems getting to the airport on time with this little time? I've never cruised before so any suggestions are helpful. I dont know how long it takes to get off the ship.

Would strongly recommend after 12:30 pm to be safe. We were off by 9:30 am as Platinum but it still was a crap shoot. Shuttle to SNA was 45 + min starting at about 10 am. If you fly out of Long Beach you may make it but to many factors such as customs, immagration fog etc. LAX is about the same as SNA.

Two hours is cutting it real close . . . there are too many variables that could cause you to miss your flight . .. late cruise ship arrival, slow customs, LA traffic . . . You would be better off trying to schedule an afternoon flight.
