Roger & Crystal Posted February 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2005 We are saling on the Truimph next month and have a balcony room. How do you keep the balcony door open? I've heard some have used bungee cords but I don't know what length. Also, any preferences on shore tours and has anyone taken an evening carraige ride in San Juan? My wife thinks this would be really nice. Please help ...
TheGrandparents Posted February 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2005 We are headed to the Triumph (eastern) the end of the week! I'm taking a long bungee just to be safe. (can always make it shorter) We're booked for horseback riding in San Juan. Due to arrival and departure times you really don't have a lot of (good) shore excursion choices. dtchem1 Posted February 7, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 7, 2005 a 2ft bungee cord should do it, but like the previous poster said, it's easier to make it shorter than longer. Senor Frogs is near the port if you like crazy bars.
MommyJamiex4 Posted February 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2005 We are just back from that cruise 1/15-1/22 and personally I didn't feel very safe in San Juan. It's entirely up to you but the area wasn't the greatest. St. Thomas on the other hand was gorgeous. I want to move there! LOL:)
TNCruzer Posted February 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2005 A bungee cord 2-3 ft works great. We even take a small boombox an listen to Buffet with smuggled cocktails.
