klstiger Posted July 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2010 Help me please, the folks at are familiar with this... Carnival Triumph offers the beach day excursion for 66.00/pp without food and includes transportation to pier for water taxi to island Directly it is 45/pp with food and transportation to pier is on your own. A few questions: any idea of cost of taxi to ferry terminal? How often does ferry leave from terminal to island? What is the best way to do this? Thanks! Taxi to the ferry terminal is $5pp. On the way back, you can return to the port dock, so you don't have a r/t expense. The ride from the dock to the ferry terminal will take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. You should plan on being at the ferry terminal 30 minutes before the ferry to get you bracelet and instructions. There is usually a short line at the window. Ferries leave for the island at: 8:30, 10:30am and 1:30pm and return at 1pm, 2pm and 4pm. here's the details: www.dolphinencounters.com http://www.bahamasbluelagoon.com/

kg03or Posted July 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2010 It's incredibly easy! We booked independently when we found out the ship was sold out and couldn't have been happier to save the money and have such a great excursion!
day-day Posted September 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 4, 2010 If we don't pre-book Blue Lagoon, can we purchase Beach Day package at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal?
scubagirrl Posted September 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 4, 2010 If we don't pre-book Blue Lagoon, can we purchase Beach Day package at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal? Only if there is room that day.. If there are several ships in, and it's high season, there's always a chance they will be booked up. Give them a call with you date and ask specifically about your date and time.
