Favourite songs played on the cruise ship?

On both of our Hawaiian cruises with Celebrity, everytime we left a port in Hawaii "Over the Rainbow" by IZ was played. Talk about tears and goosebumps!!!:):)

We miss Over The Rainbow as well! We kept our TV on the station that played it when leaving the cabin. It was always special when we returned. John bought me an IZ CD for Christmas one year...now we take it with us on our cruise.

 

Our last cruise someone had a door decoration with a rainbow...I loved it, it brought back warm memories.

conquest of paradise by vangilis. On one of our constellation cruises the band would play this at sailaway. Very majestic.

 

Thank you for reminding me of the name of this piece. The party band Top Secret played it as we were leaving Geiranger on our Norwegian Fjords cruise 4 years ago. It was simply amazing to hear this song and see the waterfalls and the mountains. It was almost a religious experience.
