What city does the Norwegian Sun dock at in Grand Bahama Island? Also are there any good bars near it?

The Norwegian Sun docks at Freeport. There is only one bar right at the cruise pier, that is Seaman's Rest. A 5 minute walk across the parking lot will land you at Pier One Restaurant.

 

However, if you take the shared shuttle for $5.00 per person to Port Lucaya then you'll be in the midst of a shopping complex with over 40 restaurants and bars between it and the resort across the street.

I only know of one port at Freeport on Grand Bahama Island where the cruise ships dock. It's an industrial port, and there are no bars or restaurants there. There is a small straw market. You would have to take a taxi to get to anything.

 

edited: I never noticed the Seaman's Rest either time I've been there.
