new pricing policies-price reductions

I thought that I understood the new pricing policies but after reading a recent article I am not so sure. I know there have been other posts about this, but, maybe someone could clarify it for me. I was under the impression that any price drops would be honored by Celebrity up until final payment and then after that a price adjustment could be made only through OBCs. However, now it sounds like you can only take advantage of a price reduction if it takes place within 72 hours after booking. Does that mean that once you pass the 72 hours the only way you can take advantage of a lower price is to cancel a reservation and then rebook at the lower price? I'm confused. Help!

Up until final payment you are good to go for reductions. But after final payment is made, no more drops. You could opt to move to a different category tho, if prices are favorable. Your TA would do that for you...or X cust. service.
