Pre Cruise Hotel

Cruise in Feb. 2011 need info on a pre cruise hotel in Long Beach besides the Queen Mary that is already booked becasue of an event they are having. Would to stay close to the cruise port as possible. We will be flying down so we will not have a car. Need to be close to food, shopping etc.
