Cave Tubing in March

OK, so I think we've decided we want to go cave tubing, rather than snorkeling.

But now my question is this: will it be too dry in March? I realize that March is in the middle of the dry season, so the river levels will be lower, but does anyone have experience that they would like to share?

On the other hand, we will be tubing with kids as young as 10. Would it be safer during March than at other times of the year, due to the lower water levels?
