Margaritaville and Jack's Shack-cash only-credit cards?

From the reviews I see that the drinks on the Island are expensive. I don't like to carry large amounts of cash on me. Will both places take credit cards?? Run a tab for the day??

I know for certain that Margaritaville takes credit cards.

 

We were at Jack's Shack in December....but we paid cash...so I don't know if they have the CC option.

 

Best as I can remember, a frozen drink at Jack's Shack was $7. That is about the same price as places in Cozumel.

So while it isn't the $1 beer you can get at St Thomas.....it is pretty much in line for small islands that have to import everything....
