Private guides - Japan, S.Korea?

Does anyone have any experience with private guides in Japan? (Kyoto, Nagasaki, Kagoshima)

 

Or - for that matter - in S.Korea? :confused:

As we too are going in March, maybe it's the same cruise? :)

 

I found some tour operators - mainly in Australia- and even in the UK, but nothing we could actually book.

It was either VERY expensive - or not suitable to what we were interested in - or both..

I am looking for a tour guide for kyoto aswell. We are going end of April, so maybe you are back from your cruise and can help me.

 

We get to Osaka at 2pm so I think we have to stay overnight in Kyoto!
