Eclipse Cabin 1639

About to set sail on Eclipse to Western Med. on Saturday and have

booked Aqua Cabin 1639. Would be interested to know, from anyone who has stayed in that cabin, what it was like. Have also picked up a lot of very good information about the ship from this forum.

How was your cabin?

 

We are in that cabin for the TransAtlantic crossing in Nov. YIKES!

I haven't read anything bad on cabin # 1639 so far - so that is good.

 

I know you weren't crossing the Atlantic during hurricane season - but did you feel much motion back there?

 

I appreciate any info you can give me.

Hi,

 

Just come off Eclipse and my parents were in 1639.

Actually they had booked a cabin on Vista deck but received a surprise upgrade with their paperwork - agent has no idea why. We didnt get one!

They were very happy with the cabin - no compaints at all - and loved eating in Blu.

If there is anything specific you want to know let me know and i'll ask them.

I have to pay my final payment tomorrow, and I'm just a bit worried about the ship's movement so far aft?

 

I realize it depends on the weather + us crossing the Atlantic open water will be different than the cruise they just did, but did they feel much rocking in that cabin?

You know - compared to the rest of the ship?

 

Also - is it possible to get sunshine with the balcony overhang?

 

I know it is a quiet cabin, and Aqua class and "Blu" sounds fabulous.

I think it is the best one left.
