elliened Posted February 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2005 my husband and i are booked in september to nova scotia from new york. i was wondering about seasickness on this northern trip. i had a problem when we cruised in the pacific ocean at sea a couple of years ago. if there might be a problem going north in the atlantic, i would be sure to travel with a patch to prevent any problems. some people have said this trip stays out of the deep ocean but i am not certain. any advice would be greatly appreciated. any other information you can give us about shore excursions etc would be a great help as this will be our first cruise with carnival. ellie

adkcruiser Posted February 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2005 We did the Victory cruise to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick last July. We had no problems with rough seas. Slightly more "movement" than our previous cruise in the Caribbean but not significant. Visibility because of the fog was more of an issue. Enjoy!! JrMafia90 Posted February 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2005 We did Canada as our first cruise, on the ship's tv the "Captains Log" they have the weather and they were showing the waves to be between 6-8 feet, and on our las day they got up to 10 feet, we didn't even feel the ship rocking only once the last night but it went away quick. When went on the Glory there was no waves, so it was different but not that much.
