We are thinking of a Baltic Cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse leaving Southampton 21 May 2011. Any advice on the most favoured Aqua Class cabins plus any other tips would be much appreciated.

I am on that cruise too - you should come join the Roll Call if you haven't posted there yet.

 

For Aqua Class, the staterooms on the slanted portion of the hump have larger than normal balconies (rooms #1610,1608,1606,1604,1605,1603,1601,1599,1552,1554, 1547 & 1549). Those would be my first choice - but they may already be booked up. I think that 1547 & 1549 may have a mild obstruction from window washing equipment. You should check any room you are considering against the "sticky" thread about Solstice Class ship rooms so you can see if anybody has written a review of that particular room.
