DiamondBill102 Posted August 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2010 Have a cruise booked Aug 28th....OV cabin...Got a call today from a Carnival rep about a "once in a life time chance"....When I called back she told me they had one Owners suite left and I could have it for "only 349.00 per night more....LOL Not sure what type of room this is. Had anyone stayed in these? We only paid 1,000 for the three of us for the 5 days...Can't afford to TRIPLE the price. But sure would like some info on the room if anyone has stayed in there before. okwriter Posted August 4, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2010 I turned down that "once in a lifetime" opportunity in January on the Sensation. I'm sure it's nice but certainly not worth it to me. We were in a penthouse suite already!
ManyMore Posted August 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2010 I could very well be a "once in a life time offer" but that is only because they don't always offer them to the general public. Despite that I wouldn't spend that much more to stay in a cabin when the same money could get me on a whole other cruise later lol
princessjanee Posted August 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2010 I believe the owners suite is cat 12 cabin...and it's worth every penny -it's spacious, the balcony is large and the bathroom has a spa tub and spacious all around, we've been on five cruises so far and would not take anything less then the cat 12. Think about it!

Think about it! That is not the case. On some of the Fantasy Class ships, there are two owner's suites that are over 1100 sq ft with a balcony. They overlook the Lido pool. If you didn't know they were there, you wouldn't even notice. Pics show the location and the entrance door.
phodon Posted August 9, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2010 We are cruising Aug 19th on the Inspiration and got the same call. We were booked in a grand suite and was offered the owners suite for an additional $1,500.00 (we are a party of 5) and stupid me took it. Now I'm broke and won't be able to do a lot of drinking. Go to U tube and there is a short video that somebody posted. I wish now I had of stayed with the grand suite. Oh well, I know we will have fun like we had on this same cruise last year. Hope you can take a few airline mini's in your "dop kit'"..plastic runner etc. in a case like this... Try a bottle or two from Bon Voyage.. Hope that extra space brings you some first time Owner's suite perks...Canapes?.. surprises..know what you mean..sjn.
