Neesh and G Posted June 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2004 I'm doing my research for a future cruise. Having never been on any RCI ship, I was hoping someone could give me a bit of a comparison. We are dance-aholics....in the club every night we were on the Carnival Glory. The two level disco on the Voyager-class ships makes me drool. Am I going to miss out on the Serenade? I think the disco is called the Vortex? G
Hoopster3145 Posted June 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2004 Yes, the voyager class ships have the 2 level disco. The Radiance Class (Serenade) have it upstairs in the VIking crown lounge overlooking the pool(Lido) area of the ship. Featuring a rotating bar around the bartenders. Both have pros and cons. The navigator's was GREAT with the dungeon (Skeletans and stuff were a great touch!) Either way i dont think you will be that disapointed, but yes the one on the voyager class was more unique, but again they are both good classes of ships! 1/01 NCL Majesty 1/02 NCL Majesty 1/03 RCCL Brilliance of the Seas 3/03 Carnival Jubilee 8/03 RCCL Navigator Of the Seas 1/04 RCCL Adventure of the Seas 3/04 RCCL Radiance of the Seas 8/15/04 Rhapsody of the Seas 14 DAY LEGEND OF THE SEAS PANAMA CANAL CRUISE (12/26/04) 3/12/05 SPRING BREAK on the GRAND PRINCESS 7 DAY WESTERN ON THE EXPLORER (5/22/05)
lauren0309 Posted June 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2004 On the Serenade they have the Vortex. The bar area has a spinning floor which is really cool. Your drink can pass you by as you are spinning away. Majesty of the Seas 3/02 Monarch of the Seas 2/03 Serenade of the Seas 11/03 Till the Enchantment!
