Ericknow32 Posted February 11, 2005 #26 Share Posted February 11, 2005 If they wanted you to leave it open you wouldn't need the bungee strap.... I don't get what this bungee strap is for. Do the doors not stay open? I have only had a balcony on Rccl and X and there was no need for a bungee strap.
serene56 Posted February 12, 2005 #27 Share Posted February 12, 2005 Carnival has doors that swing out where Royal has sliding glass doors on some of their balconies. Youneed the bungie cord to hold the door open...We used a towel in the jam to hold it open.
Cindy Posted February 13, 2005 #28 Share Posted February 13, 2005 We slept with the door wide open in Alaska, but then again we didn't need air conditioning!:) It worked great until we docked in Seward at about 2:00 in the morning. The sound of the dock workers unloading the ship was NOT a pleasant one!
