LorenV Posted August 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2010 I am going on the Carnival Valor on Sept 12, and I'm torn between a few excursions. I really like the Raiders of the Lost Mayan Cave in Belize abd the Rio Secreto (Amazing Secret River) in Mexico. I want to do both, but is it silly to do caves in both places? I also plan on doing a stingray encounter, but I'm not sure if I should do that at Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman or in Mexico. Any thoughts! hungry1 Posted August 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2010 I say do what you like to do. If exploring caves is what you like to do, more power to you. There are folks who go scuba diving at all of their ports of call and no one blinks an eye at them or ask why don't they do something different in each port. Everyone understands that they like to scuba. I'm doing the Raiders of the Lost Mayan Caves in October so I'd love to hear about your reaction when you return. LorenV Posted August 16, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted August 16, 2010 Thanks for your response. Both opportunities just look so great. Exploring a cave just seems much more interesting than going on a group tour of the city. If we don't do this, we'll probbaly try to find another place to go zip lining at least. I will definitely let you know how the Raiders of the Lost Mayan Caves went when we get back!
