ldhio Posted August 12, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2010 Am considering booking the Star Clipper as first sailing experience for next May, 2010. Has anyone had experience on a Nice/Rome Med itinerary on this ship at this time of year. I have heard that the ship's movement is problematic for anyone who is prone to sea sickness. While my husband and I are not super sensitive to it, we both have had experience with it and I don't want to book a surprise 75th BD trip for him if the sea conditions in the Med in the late spring will be an issue. If you and your dh are super sensitive to sea sickness you better get a good way to prevent this as there will be motion on the ship not a great amount but for some one who is super sensitive it will bother you.My daughter is super sensitive she felt motion when i did not feel any at all hope this helps
