Delta0413 Posted August 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2010 Our family has done a Christmas cruise on Disney, but now we are considering cruising on Navigator OTS this year. For those who have cruised RCCL over Christmas, what should we expect? Do they decorate the ship? What do they do differently onboard on Christmas day, etc? Thanks

Thanks The ships are decorated, normally from just after Thanksgiving, we did a Xmas cruise on Grandeur, Xmas day is normally spent at sea, there was a traditional Xmas dinner, can't remember if it was Xmas Day or Xmas Eve. On Christmas Morning, the captain came over the loudspeaker, saying that is some passengers had noticed the ship slow down, not to worry, the bridge had noticed a blip on the radar screen, and hoping it may be Santa, had turned of one of the engine, so he could use the funnel to acess the ship. Sure enough, about half an hour later, the Captain came on again, saying it was indeed Santa, and he had boarded the ship and was making his way to the pool deck to hand out gifts for the children, made it a special day for the kids.
